Hello I have only been using BigLinux for a few days, and It's very good and I can see and feel that a lot of work has been put into it, so big thanks to the BigLinux team. I saw that Telegram was "installed", but it did not want to start - I can see that it's a webapp, but still nothing happens I have also noticed that the keyboard layout simply switch to English US and I cannot figure out why. If I try to open Keyboard settings from the System tray I get this error: [upl-image-preview uuid=1a9dc4c1-589d-4f63-82b3-e75b2572f7d9 url=https://i.imgur.com/UlzY7H8.png alt={TEXT?}] In general there is something wrong with the language setup - I have chosen English Us as language but Denmark / Copenhagen as location But as it can be seen here, something is not 100% correct. I saw that Telegram was “installed”, but it did not want to start - I can see that it’s a webapp, but still nothing happens

I have also noticed that the keyboard layout simply switch to English US and I cannot figure out why. If I try to open Keyboard settings from the System tray I get this error:

The Kernel Manager is In Portuguese

Problem 1: Keyboard switching to US + settings error

This is a known Wayland + KDE bug. Fix it permanently:

Open terminal and set the Danish layout:
```
   localectl set-x11-keymap dk pc105
```

Create an autostart script to force the layout on every boot:

   mkdir -p ~/.config/autostart && echo '[Desktop Entry]
   Type=Application
   Name=Force Danish Keyboard Layout
   Exec=setxkbmap dk
   StartupNotify=false
   X-KDE-Autostart-after=panel' > ~/.config/autostart/force_keyboard.desktop && chmod +x ~/.config/autostart/force_keyboard.desktop

Logout and login again (or reboot). The keyboard will stay in Danish.

Note: If the system tray icon still shows “US” but typing is Danish, go to System Settings > Input Devices > Keyboard > Layouts, uncheck and re-check “Configure layouts”, then add Denmark and remove others.

Problem 2: Telegram not starting

The webapp is broken. Install the native version instead:

flatpak install flathub org.telegram.desktop

After installation, find Telegram in your app menu and pin it to the panel. It will work perfectly with Wayland.

Problem 3: Kernel Manager in Portuguese

This is normal — it’s a BigLinux-specific tool. No impact on your system.

Quick summary:

Keyboard → localectl set-x11-keymap dk + autostart script
Telegram → flatpak install flathub org.telegram.desktop
No need to switch to X11 — everything works on Wayland

Thanks for the guidance Rusher, but what do you mean by [Desktop Entry]

Can you elaborate on that, I’m not very good with scripts?
I may be asking stupidly, but what should be called scripted, and what should be added to it
