Hi, am enjoying BigLinux so far and impressed with it's speed/stability (comparing with XeroLinux & Mabox). Have it installed on my testing laptop before committing myself to my desktop PC as daily driver. Everything was working well until today when I allowed the system to update & as new kernel installed rebooted the laptop. 1st thing I have noticed is that the Big Store and the Control Center apps are now in Portuguese! They were both in English prior to the updates. The language was set to English (GB/UK) during installation. I have checked all the usual KDE-Plasma language settings & it only shows English language installed (no other languages listed anywhere). All my dictionary files (Web browsers, Libre Office etc) are also set to English(EN). Everything else on the system is working fine in English language text. I have never seen or installed Portuguese language anywhere else on this installation, so assume the two apps were updated which has broken the language setting for these apps. The versions installed are: Bigstore 22.10.15_2021, BigControlCenter 2022.10.10-0816. I'm pretty sure it's probably just a configuration file that needs editing?? Anyway, thanks for creating such an impressive distro which I hope to be able to use as my new daily driver!

echo $ LANG result = LANG echo $ LANGUAGE result = LANGUAGE The above commands don't look right to me?

I couldn't replicate the problem on my system, but I've seen something similar on livecd, I released an update from biglinux-session-and-themes, update the system and reboot to see if it solves the language problem.

Okay, did sudo pacman -Syu Found some updates, & then I rebooted PC. (but I don't recall seeing any updates to any of the affected packages listed ![below)]([upl-image-preview url=https://i.imgur.com/TwaZpjk.jpeg] [upl-image-preview url=https://i.imgur.com/TFrPcMe.jpeg] [upl-image-preview url=https://i.imgur.com/vQ4mDKm.jpeg] https://) Re-opened the following apps: Big-Store, Big-Welcome & Control Center. All are in Portuguese. (see the attached screenshots). As none of these apps have any settings to change the displayed language from Portuguese to English I am stuck with the following options: 1. Going back to school to learn what is probably one of the most difficult languages to learn (so I have been reliably informed by my multi-lingual relatives!) 2. Guessing what all the text means. 3. Switching back to Xero or Garuda or Mabox (which I don't want to do, as ALL three of these Arch based distros have ended up being very unstable (which I'm beginning to think is common to ALL Arch based distros - unless they are almost 100% 'pure-vanilla' Arch, installed from scratch with literally NO customisations or tweaks.

For some unknown reason your system does not have LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 I tried to replicate the problem by doing the installation in English and I couldn't replicate the problem, you can test, for example, open it through the terminal: LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 big-store
